EAS Incorporated features a horizontal cooler mounted catalytic combination silencer system that can be applied to rich and lean burn and 2-cycle engines for controlling emissions including NOx, CO, HCHO, & NMNEHC compounds.
All of our systems exceed MACT EPA standards and are available with industrial grade, critical grade and hospital grade silencers.
The horizontal cooler mounted combination catalytic silencers are designed for a specific engine flow rate, temperature, pollutants destruction efficiency requirement and DBA noise reduction requirements with your space requirements and inlet/outlet flange size in mind.
Depending on the inlet gas temperature the flow arrangement can be reversed to allow some cooling of the engine exhaust gas prior to the catalyst by traveling through the silencer section first.
The catalyst is accessible through a top cover plate and inserted into a slot.
Only (4) four bolts have to be removed to gain access to the catalyst which has a handle welded to the top of the ring. The round catalyst element features anti-telescoping bars indented into the foil on both sides and offset by 90 degrees and welded to the outside 304 stainless steel ring to prevent telescoping.
The unique catalyst construction prevents sagging, gapping, and ensures uniform laminar flow through the element.
